Thiokol Spryte 1200, as seen in The Thing (2011).
The Thiokol/LMC Snowcat is an enclosed-cab, truck-sized, fully tracked vehicle designed to move on snow. Initially manufactured by Thiokol's snowcat division, which later became Logan Manufacturing Company (LMC), several of their vehicles were featured in the 2011 film The Thing as Thule Station's ground transport. Other vehicles operated by the outpost include a Bell 206 helicopter.
History[]
A Thiokol Spryte 1200 first appears in the opening scenes of The Thing (2011), as Norwegian researchers travel across the snowfields.
Trivia[]
