Merging[]

I think that this should be merged with Norwegian Thing, since they are actually the same thing(no pun intended). Baro Moramee" 21:24, October 31, 2011 (UTC)

I think we should keep Split Face seperate for the moment and ifi it is merged with Norwegian Thing could we keep the name Split Face in somewhere because I think it has a nice ring to it.- Kgirl23

split face does resemble the burnt N thing found in the beggining of The Thing but is it official confirmed by the film-makers? or are we just deducing it ourselves (even if its obvious) remember speculation is not allowed in wikis Mr.Scryer 86.186.135.238 23:23, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

Mate, I understand your concern to keep speculation off the wiki, but saying that it is possible that the Edvard-Adam Thing seen in the 2011 film, and the burnt, two-faced Thing seen in the 1982 film, are not the same Thing is like saying that the corpse chained up in the Bathroom Trap in Saw II was not Adam. For one thing, the "Norwegian Thing" and "Split Face" look virtually the same as far as one can tell, and even if the two-faced Things seen in the 1982 and 2011 films weren't the same, the only explanations I can think of for that are just plain stupid. Plus, Adam and Edvard were the only people at the Norwegian base assimilated by the Thing who turned into a two-faced monster and were then burnt to death. TroopDude 18:18, April 13, 2012 (UTC)

Video Game[]

I was looking at this guy and got to thinking if they made a sequal to the video game (A prequal game) he could be a pretty cool boss charecter. You could have a level where you cant fight him just yet but have to avoid him through the station with speed or strategy ( Knock stuff over to block his path). And an exteneded fight scene has Kate against him before you kill him.

So what do you think?

I just wish there was a sequel to the game.184.151.63.248 02:07, October 30, 2012 (UTC)
