North is a Soldier that was assigned with the Arctic Marines' Bravo Team to investigate the U.S. Outpost 31. The character appears in the 2002 video-game The Thing.
History
He was assigned to investigate the U.S. Outpost 31 after the US Military lost contact with them for several day. He arrived along with fellow members Burrows, Weldon, and Captain Blake. During Bravo Team's investigation they discovered a UFO and an unidentified dead body. They also discovered the body of Childs. With no confirmed survivors, Colonel Whitley ordered the outpost to be destroyed by planting C4 charges inside it. Bravo Team was ordered to return to base, but Blake insisted on assisting Alpha Team after losing contact with them at the Norwegian outpost. After Blake was dropped the others return to base.
Personality
North shows courage in the first level and demonstrates that he means business, for example, when sighting the first corpse found at Outpost 31, Weldon panics while North asks everyone to calm down and find out the cause.
