Fuente was a guard stationed at the Tierra del Fuego military base. The character appeared in the 1992 comic series The Thing From Another World: Climate of Fear.

History

Fuente was one of the guards guarding the Tierra del Fuego military base along with Soto. He and Soto talk about leaving the mission because of the incidents happening. Before finding a strange man who they think is a man named "Carlos" who they also think is playing a prank on them. Soto tells "Carlos" to get into his bunk or be told on. Then the strange person turns around and reveals to be a Thing. Fuente says "Oh Good God!" before getting the thing's hands embeds in his and Soto's head assimilating them into its body.
